Exciting news! Another New Calligraphy has accepted Stereometry for publication! This book is unlike anything I've ever written before and it's difficult for even me to describe. Because the book spans such a large amount of time following the grieving process, there is an emotional trajectory woven throughout. In the end, Stereometry is about healing.
Ultimately, it combines poetry, prose, and mathematics and seeks answers to the question "How do we measure our own bodies?" An early version of Stereometry appeared as a short story in Fourteen Hills and later, some emerging prose poems were published in Visitant Lit.
Like most writers, I process most things that happen in my life through my writing. It's been a long journey trying to find the most appropriate form for these words, but I'm so comforted that Another New Calligraphy wants to help me share them with others. Stay tuned.
